I adore that scene! Definitely one of my faves of the series... Jeannie and Dr. Bellows, whenever they had the chance to share a scene, were fantastic!

Have thought of some more great quotes, though what really makes them great is the episode they're from - "Where'd You Go-Go" which is one of my favourites. It's the one when Roger meets Jeannie for the first time (she's wearing civilian clothes) and she accepts a date with him in order to make Tony jealous. And it works, big time! In the same episode... Diane to Tony : You're nervous. You're not married or anything silly like that, are you ? Tony : Oh no, nothing silly like that ! Tony to Roger : A guy gets pretty tired of a woman fawing all over him... not only that, you're gonna lose all your married friends. The wiwes will hate Jeannie. They'll see her catering to you, treating you with kindness... and understanding, compassion... You think they're gonna sit idly by... and let her destroy everything they stand for ? ;D |
