Hi everyone, Does anyone else love this episode as much as I do? I think this is one of the most hilarious shows of the entire series. Larry is perfect in every scene of this... his attempt at singing with his "real" voice was absolutely hilarious. (although according to his mother Mary Martin he could sing and even when he was joking around in the episode "Always on Sunday" it was evident that he could carry a tune). Anyway then at the end where Jeannie blinks in all those other voices Larry's reactions are perfect... especially when she blinks in the Marlena Dietrich jazzy sounding voice his expressions are brilliant. What else makes this scene perfect for me is General Peterson and Dr. Bellows's faces... I love when Hayden raises and lowers his fingers to try to demonstrate Tony's amazing range to General Peterson. Anyway, I adore this episode and wondered if anyone else feels this episode stands out for them.

I have always liked this ep. When Gen. P reacts to Tony's jazzy voice it makes me laugh every time!
I also love when Tony's trying to break the glass with his voice and Roger comes in and just smashes it over the ash tray. LOL
Listen to Jeannie's laugh when she is in the flower pot rolling over laughing. That is adorable! She's just having so much fun. I love her laugh in that scene.

I love all those moments that you've mentioned... Tony's voice when he's yelling at the glass... LOL! And Roger's entrance is very funny. General Peterson's faces in this episode are great, and I love Jeannie's laugh in the flowerpot too.

This episode was so funny and just ended up being so perfect... definitely one of my favorites! (It's hard to say whether it is THE favorite episode of mine... for example I also really love that Season 1 episode where Tony lands in jail after he is suspected of pushing Jeannie overboard a yacht, and Tony gets Roger to go and talk to a certain wall in his house, and Jeannie and later Dr. Bellows comes up behind him... that was also classic, and that was Bill Daily's personal favorite episode of the series) But the Caruso episode was definitely one of the best episodes too.

"The Yacht Murder Case" is a cute Season 1 episode. Yeah, Bill always mentions that scene talking to the walls as his favourite... it's not one of my favourites, but it's one of the best of Season 1 I think.
"My Master the Great Caruso" isn't my number 1 favourite, but it's sure up there!... probably in my Top 5.

Oh, I agree completely. With IDOJ, I find it's really hard to pick favorites... aside from a few (relatively) boring episodes, nearly all of the episodes were fantastic! And many of them are so different that it's like comparing, to use a Tony Nelson phrase, lemons and oranges.
