HI , CAN SOMEONE OUT THERE HELP ME OUT HERE. I JUST HEARD THAT MISS EDEN WAS REALLY HURT BAD IN FILMING A SHOT OF JEANNIE IN THE THE SAFE. SHE SAID IT HAPPNED WHILE HER MOTHER WAS ON THE SET AND THE WALL AND LARGE PROPS (LIP STICK) FELL DOWN ON HER AND SHE BLACKED OUT. WHY WOULD THEY USE THIS SAME STORYYLINE FOR THE CHARACTER OF JEANNIE? DOES ANYONE KNOW OF THIS? HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS ? I WAS SHOCKED.

That's the first time I heard this, if she really got hurt, that's too bad. I hope it wasn't serious, things like these happen so hopefully they made sure on the set that everything was ok with her after that incident.

YES , I HOPE SO TOO. . MISS EDEN ONLY SAID IT HAPPENED AND IT WAS HORRIBLE. WHAT I FIND SHOCKING IS WHY WOULD THEY ALLOW THE SAME INJURY TO HAPPEN TO JEANNIE IN THE VERY SAME WAY ON THE SHOW, EVEN WITH THE SAME LARGE PROP? I FEEL BAD FOR HER EVEN THOUGH THIS HAPPENED A LONG TIME AGO.

I can't tell you why since I wasn't there to see it myself but I remember reading something in Larry's book on how Barbara never really spoke up to complain about things in the script she maybe disagreed with unlike Larry  |

IT WAS ON A ONLINE INTERVIEW THAT BARBARA EDEN DID A FEW YEARS BACK. I NEVER KNEW THIS HAPPENED. A FRIEND OF MINE READ ABOUT IT YEARS AGO IN AN OLD MAG. AND TOLD ME IT ABOUT TOO. MAYBE THIS IS WHAT LARRY HAGMAN MEANT BY BAD SCRIPTS OR FIGHTING TO CHANGE THEM. POOR TASTE ON THE WRITERS PART. I FEEL IT IS JUST NOT RESPECTFUL TO MISS EDEN AND I FIND THE WHOLE THING ODD.

Yes, I'm sure that's what Larry meant by bad scripts....I know that Larry said that Barbara never complained about anything but I know that while I can be very patient and understanding I would not have tolerated such a thing. Then again I'm a perfectionist and I have my problems with people telling me what to do when I feel that what they suggest is wrong and can only make matters worse.

DON'T FEEL BAD, I KNOW I WOULD HAVE OPENED MY MOUTH TOO. I WOULD NEVER HAVE LET THEM DO THAT TO ME OR THE CHARACTER. AND TO THINK , THEY WOULD LATER KEEP USING THAT TYPE OF GAG FOR JEANNIE IN OTHER SHOWS. WHICH, I DON'T FIND FUNNY. PLEASE DON'T GET ME WRONG, I AM A BIG IDOJ FAN AND I DO LOVE THE SHOW. BARBARA EDEN IS ONE SUPER NICE LADY TO LET IT GO. THAT'S FOR SURE.
