The most passionate kiss is the one in Solid Gold Jeannie... Hmm...not one of my favorite kisses but it's ok...I like the one in "An Astronaut in Sheep's Clothing" better ;D

I did like the superman episode though and there were no kisses but the way Tony acted when he was jealous was great...I just wish they would not have ruined such a wonderful episode with the ending they did. The ending was just a cop out! After all that build up and the wise, slightly-paternal advice that the General gives Tony - words to the effect of "Go get her son!" - and then there's just a real anti-climax when he discovers that Tony Millionnaire wasn't real. Still, he wouldn't let her go to the supermarket alone so it obviously had some effect. Further to my previous comment above, although a disappointment, you have to ask how else this episode could have ended. It couldn't just have ended the way it did when Jeannie was 'dating' Roger, with Tony simply telling her that he didn't want her seeing anyone else. Yet in this case, Tony was led to believe that Tony Millionnaire knew Jeannie was a genie and still wanted to marry her. Thus, other than propose himself (which Tony was probably planning to do!), I can't see any other way it could have ended other than Tony finding out about Jeannie's deceit. And apart from it being way too early in the series for them to get married, it wouldn't have been fair if he'd never found out as Jeannie would have deceived him into an engagement. Yes, it is a bit nasty that he 'tortures' her before revealing that he knew but this is characteristic of him. And the way I always saw it was that Tony's anger directed at Jeannie was actually anger at himself - for having to face up to how much he loved Jeannie and confirmation that he didn't want anyone else to have her.

One of my favorites is the one at the end of "An Astronaut in Sheep's Clothing"... can't tell why but I found that scene very sweet.

I like the "Sheep's Clothing" ep kiss, and the "Turned on Master" kiss. I tend to like it when it's Tony who initiates the kiss. Jeannie does it in most of the eps. Tony always tends to be at her mercy, so I like it when she is occationally at his mercy. He so rarely shows those moments where he truly desires her. It's those moments that make their love so great.

The second kiss in the pilot episode is a passionate one. True, Jeannie throws her arms around him and initiates the kiss and Tony tries to break away from her in the beginning, but then he gives in to her and holds her tight while he kisses her back. There is then a fade to black for a commercial, but when the viewer is returned to the episode Jeannie and Tony are still kissing, giving the impression that they were kissing the entire time we the viewers were away. True, it does ruin it when Tony opens his eyes and pulls away from her. In the episode commentary of the pilot, Barbara Eden says, "Gottcha" during that kissing scene. That just sums it up for the episode.

I agree major, that's a great one! I love how he gives in and just melts. It's cute how in the commentary Larry notices that it's at a different angle when it comes back from commercial break, and I love Barbara's "Gotcha!" That kiss really marks the start of so many great events to come!

I don't remember the name of the episode but there's one time when Tony is leaving for work and Jeannie asks if he'll kiss her good-bye. At first he doesn't allow it and says something like, "We agreed that we were just going to be buddies." Then Jeannie says, "Don't people ever kiss their buddies?" He finally agrees, thinking it's going to be a quick kiss but it turns out to be pretty romantic. When they pull apart he says, "You're the best buddy anyone ever had!" and he walks out the door. I know it's not the greatest Jeannie and Tony moment but it always makes me swoon.

I can't remember the exact episode either but it's definitely very early on in the first season.
