Harper Valley, PTA

I recently rented and watched Harper Valley, PTA with Barbara Eden and I enjoyed it!
My roommate who is also a Barbara Eden fan didn't really care for it. I thought it was funny and cute. It was so nice to see Barbara in a different role than Jeannie. She is such a versatile actress, she can play anything she's given.
The things she did to the people in the movie was so funny! I was rooting for her! It made me think of something Jeannie would do. Barbara was so sweet with the girl who played her daughter in the movie. It made me wonder if that's how Barbara would have been if she had had a daughter.
It was great. ;D

I've only seen clips of the television version on youtube... never seen the movie, but I'd like to. I agree though, it's a great character for her... so different from Jeannie, and yet there's still elements of Jeannie in her. The clips that I've seen are really cute.

I taped this years ago, and still enjoy it. I love the aspect she has with her daughter. It breaks my heart when her daughter gets embarassed by Barbara. Which is why Barbara decides to take revenge. Great great show. I found the moive soundtrack on a record that I framed last year. Barbara looks great on the front of it.
