Barbara Eden as Jeannie in our favorite show, IDOJ, quickly weaved her way into Tony's heart, too! Nice to see that Barbara is still doing what she does best. ;D

Did anyone catch the episode? I did and it was great! Barbara still looks great. She did a great job as Ruth. Her character was so sweet to George and I had to laugh in the end when George hugged Ruth and he asked her how it felt and she told him; "Strange and uncomfortable." It was funny! Barbara still doing what she does best! ;D

She's still got her great comedic timing... a great chance to see her in her element again. She should do a sitcom again... wouldn't she be good as a grandma figure or something? The sitcom is a dying breed... Barbara could definitely do something about that!

I also liked the part when George's wife mentioned the mess in the kitchen and Ruth (Barbara) said; "There is so much to do and not enough time to do it in I just wish I could cross my arms and blink and it would all be done." It was so funny! I was hoping for a "Jeannie" innuendo and we got one. I loved it! ;D

I think Barbara has so much patience being identified with that character. She accepts that that is the character she will always be known as, and embraces it... and never seems to mind being associated with Jeannie in other roles. I think that's great. Some actors would want to completely forget that they played Jeannie and move on. But she just realizes that that is the way it is and keeps going! I love her for that.

Some actors famously resent being associated with their most well-known characters. I'm glad to hear that Barbara Eden wasn't like that at all.
