It seems that Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman are going to tour the US with their play "Love Letters" - a good opportunity for all US fans to meet the IDoJ cast. Who's going to be at the PA event in October 2006? Sigh too bad it's in the US otherwise it'd be a nice birthday present for me ..hmm...

Keep checking Larry Hagman's official website. It states that the 2006 and 2007 dates will be announced soon.

Now since this thread was back in July of 2006 this is technically "old news". I only took a second look because someone said there was going to be a 2006-2007 tour and to check LH's website. So I did, and I found this:
At this time, Larry does not have any appearances scheduled to appear in Love Letters with Barbara Eden. Any internet announcements or advertisements suggesting an appearance of the two of them in Love Letters is, unfortunately, false and inaccurate. Please help us locate the source of this information by forwarding any links to advertisements for Love Letters with Larry Hagman and Barbara Eden to our website. We will try to correct the problem. Thank you.
I don't know if this means anything but I would think that they would have said "There was a successful run of the tour" somewhere but I was unable to find it. I was just wondering if anyone else has any other information.

He did do quite a few appearances before relinquishing his role to the new guy - Hal Linden, I think his name was.

Yes, from what I understand Larry did his run (and I've heard that he ended a bit early partly because of illness), but I don't know that for sure. Apparently there was a problem after he left the show that fans told him about when they were travelling on a road trip that posters were still advertising his name with the show, after he had already finished his commitment. Hence, the announcement on his website. So, now it's Hal Linden (of sitcom "Barney Miller" fame) who has stepped in and by all accounts is doing a fantastic job. I wish I could go see the show, but I'd really want to see Larry in the role. Seeing those 2 on stage, LIVE, and together again would be an experience I would never forget!

I too wish I could have seen a Larry/Barbara Love Letters show though...

Ah I see. So can someone post the schedule that is currently running now? If it is still running.
