To tell you the truth, Patterson. I haven't seen the German version in a while but I do remember them changing the intro - I have absolutely no idea why...they had to change the name since it was called "Bezaubernde Jeannie" in Germany but that requires no new intro...I did like the new cartoon version though, it wasn't so bad...I don't remember anything about the music played throughout the series and I did watch it all the time until a few years ago...I have the IDOJ DVD sets (two are from the US), one is from Amazon Germany but I never even bothered to watch the German version since I always prefer originals but you're right about the actress doing Barbara, she sounds a lot like Barbara and I have to give them credit, dubbing is done very well here in Germany.

I still haven't bought the first season...my birthday is only 2 weeks away so, hopefully, I'll be getting it then.

What smokes my bottle is that you can't find a decent IDOJ costume! You see the season 1 costume and even that is crappy quality! It's all polyester and elastic and "one size fits all". Now I am in no way a big person, I have curves yes, but NEVER have I found a "one fits all" costume to fit ANYONE! If anyone knows of a pattern that's out there or who has made it from a pattern and would like to make a copy of the pattern for me, it would be great!
