Yes I know, the thing is that unfortunately not many people are posting on this site or answer posts..how come?? You'd think that there are many fans out there now celebrating the release of the DVD sets...otherwise I could start plenty of new threads

Well honestly I'm not sure why this forum isn't more active. I noticed that a lot of the old guest books on Jeannie websites that are completely outdated are full of conversations amongst the fans. Which is why I created this forum. There was nothing like it specifically for I Dream of Jeannie. Hopefully we will get some more activity as the summer progresses.

Yes, fingers crossed. Maybe they stayed away from here since there wasn't much to talk about, hopefully I can change that...and if others participate we may have the best IDOJ forum real soon

you could use free photo services such as imageshack.us, there you have an option to upload the picture and then just put the IMG link they provide in here that one will load the pictures into the thread or just the http link or sign up with photobucket.com or send them to me and I'll put them on my webspace and link them here

I would like to find a bobble head. I have a bunch of Jeannie stuff, and yesterday bought season 2. This time I had to travel nearly an hour to get it. My local Wal-mart, and Kmart didnt have it.

Most Wal-Mart and KMart stores don't carry it. However every Target I've ever been to has had at least two copies of Season 1 in color. None are carrying it in black and white. Sams Club and Costco have both black and white and color. Now I'm wondering how easy Season 2 will be to find.

I usually order through DeepDiscountDVD since I can't get the US DVDs in German stores, naturally - have had no problems with them so far...

it's only a pity for who like me wants to get I dream of Jeannie in many languages to buy diff'rent countries dvd, for italian version from amazon germany and for international amazon com, why don't do one with 6 languages?

That appears to be a US DVD problem only since most European DVDs have several languages on them to choose from, I own DVDs from the US that only have English on them...while most German DVDs have German, English, French, Italian and other languages on them. So yes I'd agree, seeing how many international customers would like to purchase the DVDs, why not include say German, French, Italian, Spanish on the season 3 DVD as well...I usually only pick the English version since i prefer original but I'm sure that many customers would not mind having another language version either.

I suppose they put the languages of the region. The IDOJ DVDs sold here in Brazil have English, Portuguese, and Spanish languages. I don't think people around here would be interested in any other language.

Well, it's not that I need all those exotic languages on the German DVDs but I think it's nice that you get more than just one language...I'd hate it if they only shipped those DVDs in German. I don't think it's such a bad idea to put the most commonly used languages on a DVD set, no matter whether it's a German or American Jeannie DVD...what's wrong having German, English, French or Spanish on the DVDs..just because I speak German doesn't mean that other people who may want to watch the show in another language shouldn't have the right to do just that. But in our case I suppose that Sony thinks that some European customers may as well order through Amazon Germany so they put other foreign languages on them.

Speaking of redubbing... I caught a clip of I Dream of Jeannie from the German Broadcast and I was shocked that not only did they re-do the cartoon introduction, but the incedental music through out the episodes is different as well. It hadn't crossed my mind that they would have to simply silence the entire audio track, redub the dialogue as well as make new music. I think I might have even noticed that the blink sound effect was different as well... which really bothered me.
I have to hand it to the voice over actress though, she sounded shockingly like Barbara Eden... which is a tough thing to do.
