What is your favorite romantic moment throughout the series?
That moment in "Jeannie Breaks the Bank" It's adorable when Jeannie get's something stuck in her eye and is concerned for her, he takes his hankercheif and dabs her eye. It looks like they are about to kiss but the doorbell rings! Close to a kiss and yet it doesn't happen! But the way Tony looks at her in that scene is sooo lovely.

It looks like they are about to kiss but the doorbell rings! Close to a kiss and yet it doesn't happen! But the way Tony looks at her in that scene is sooo lovely. Love that moment too! I love the 6-month anniversary episode (with the goat)... that moment in the bottle at the end is so romantic. Also love the lovely conversation they have in the bottle in "The Wedding episode". Love in the "Mecca" episode how Tony says he can't leave Jeannie and he grasps her face in his hands and holds them there as if he can never live to not see that face again. Sigh... love that moment. Also love the realization of Tony's love for Jeannie in the engagement episode, and then when he proposes to her and she starts to tear up. Love that moment. |

My favorite moment doesn't even have Jeannie it it.
In "Guess who's going to be a bride? Part II" when Tony and Roger are in the igloo and they're discussing Jeannie getting married. Roger says, "What's the matter with that, you said you never wanted to see her again."
Tony counters with: "And you believed me? I haven't been able to get her out of my thoughts since we got here. Three whole weeks. I dream of her every night. [whispers] I'm in love with her. Come. Wednesday that's..." as he jumps up to get ready.
Roger: "By the time you get to Cocoa Beach and ask General Schaeffer's permission it'll be to late."
Tony: "I'm not going to Cocoa Beach. I'm going to Besinji."
Later as they're getting on the plane and Roger doesn't want to go, and tells him they're going to get in trouble again and Tony just says, "I can't help it Roger, I'm in love.
Then in the airplane, when Tony says, to the airplane, "Come on baby, get me to Moscow in time."
It just makes me swoon because not only is it about time that he finally realized how he felt about Jeannie, but he wasn't going to let anything stop him. He was going to get to her, going to marry her, come hell or high water.
