[I have to agree with the above. What's implied when Tony says this is that although he probably thought he was in love with Melissa and his high school sweetheart, he never knew what real love was until he knew Jeannie. To romanticise this idea even further, consider 'Romeo & Juliet'. Before Romeo meets Juliet he's pining away over the love he thinks he feels for Rosaline. He goes to the Capulet party to see Rosaline but instead sees Juliet and immediately falls for her, causing him to say "Have I ever known love before this night." He thought he had until he encountered the real thing. OK, so Tony and Jeannie are hardly Romeo and Juliet but the same principle applies. I completely agree! I love how you say that Tony didn't know what love was until Jeannie because it is so true. And I love the Romeo and Juliet analogy! Never would have thought of it but it fits!

I don't think Tony would've succumbed to temptation. He was just too uptight, and she wasn't the kind to push it in that direction. Now on the other hand, while Jeannie's sister was there...well, I have my theories. To put it bluntly, I don't think she ever takes no for an answer. No wonder he was so tired.

Tony looks completely and utterly exhausted in the first episode where she appears! It makes for some pretty funny moments though!

She doesn't but I don't think she would've managed to get that far though... Tony would probably have noticed something 'off' about Jeannie and wouldn't have let things get that much out of hand even if 'Jeannie II' had wanted to. Besides, it's established in show canon that he was that exhausted because they were dancing around the world all night long.

[/color I remembered that in the very first episodes (1st or 2nd) when Jeannie's master girlfriends arrived to the his house and finds Jeannie in one of the Captain's shirts, this is just so you remember at the end of the episode he goes to his room apparently from a very tired day and closes the door and Jeannie makes herself in and with a take of the close door they say (from inside the room): Captain: no (gigles), Jeannie Jeannie: Oh, Master So I thought that maybe that was their first time together... In the very beginning.

Well I don't think that they have ever done anything. And your all correct when your talking about all of that sexual tension they have together. It's just all of the chemistry that they have for eachother. I forgot the name of the episode it's from season 1-4 not five. But Jeannie gets something in her eye and Major Nelson dabs it with his hankercheif and they both look like they are about to kiss but the doorbellrings.
