Hi all. What are your thoughts on the 'weird' dance Tony and Jeannie do in "Whatever Became of Baby Custer?" I know that back then they had some really funny dance styles but this one cracks me up every time I watch the episode.

What I noticed the first time I saw it, was that Barbara's wig was coming down and she had to reach up and lift the hair back up from falling out on the veil.

When you watch the episode where the blue gen is after Jeannie watch & you'll see a hair pin popping out of the little hat Barbara wearing as Jeannie Kandy Kisses

I thought the dance was funny but I felt sorry for Larry Hagman. He must have felt a bit stupid having to bop around like that! Bravo sir.

The best part of this episode is the "kiss and make up" scene. The soft playing of the first season I Dream of Jeannie theme makes this one of Jeannie and Tony's most romantic moments.

I know what you mean. In fact there was something about that whole scene that I thought was really sexy. Call me crazy, but there's something about how Tony enters the attic and stands right behind Jeannie and her pony tail is brushing against his cheek. Then when he moves the telescope away from her eye and moves close to her and says "You know, we have a custom on this planet called 'kiss and make up'." It's one of those really rare occasions when Tony actually *wants* to kiss Jeannie and he initiates it. Love it!

Suzie, exactly my thoughts, gee, we should chat about this one ...Did anyone else see that when Tony stands right behind Jeannie he rolls his eyes? I thought that was cute. Adds to the sexual tension part.

No, I missed the rolling eyes. I'll have to rewatch that. It was sexy but also funny because it also seemed like Tony was striking a bargain with her. He's almost saying, "If you agree to forget this whole thing about me accusing you - and saying I hated blondes - I'll let you kiss me." I also really liked Jeannie's expression during the kiss. I like how she's magicked away Custer and, without breaking contact, she smiles and then resumes kissing Tony. Great moment.

That is the only thing I don't like about the kiss..that she opens her eyes to deal with Custer and then continues to kiss Tony..it's like she's not really into it..I hate that everytime that happens when they kiss...I still like how it begins though...my favorite kiss from S1-2 is that from "Americanization of Jeannie"...

To me, when she smiles, her smile isn't so much, "Ha ha, take that Custer!" as, "I'm in control and right now I have everything I want and I'm feeling very contented." For that reason, I liked it.
Yep, I got all that from a smile! Lol! But what I didn't like quite so much was that during all that, Tony seemed to have frozen! What a great kisser that man must be, lol!

A man who gives 'frozen kisses' ...let me put it this way, sometimes I had the feeling that Tony didn't actually like kissing Jeannie, then if he was in the mood for it, he made it look real and somehow I always had the feeling that Jeannie didn't put much into like in Where'd you go go when they were at the door kissing, it didn't look like Jeannie actually enjoyed that kiss...more like I have to press my lips against his now while Tony looked more into it...there are some kisses, however, where both seem to be into it and they look real.

A little off subject, but I actually spoke(via the forum on his website) with Billy Mumy about his appearances on IDoJ and Bewitched and said he had great fun. He said Larry and Barbara were really nice, and so were the Bewitched gang. He said he had a huge crush on Elizabeth Montgomery so he enjoyed his time on Bewitched more
