Hayden Porke was the perfect man for the role of Col. Dr. Alfred Bellows. His facial expressions and his attitude towards Major Nerlson really brought the show together. Absolutely.

LOL! I feel bad for Dr. Bellows at times. But Amanda Bellows is also very funny. Nosey too lol.

LOL! I feel bad for Dr. Bellows at times. But Amanda Bellows is also very funny. Nosey too lol. I think that Emmaline Henry as Amanda was very underrated. She really brought so much to the role, and lit up the screen every time she was in an episode.

I know, especially in "The Case of The Porcaline Puppy" (spelling???) where Amanda Bellows is holding onto Alfred Bellows and both of there faces are histerical!!!

I know they both made the best facial expressions, escpecially when they are frightend, or the "I think i'll go lie down" look.

Great topic. I agree with everyone and will go further to say that Dr. Bellows was indispensable to the success of IDOJ. He was the perfect foil for Jeannie's shenanegans. He acted his part superbly. His reactions were the funniest part of the show. I wish he and his wife could have goten even more screen time. She was superb as well. They could have starred in their own show.

alfred bellows was funny. had me laughing with tears in my eyes. all the time. perfect foil.major healy the best sidekick. lol.
